Abstract

Approaching a reflective and critical reading of culture and hermeneutics of culture from a professor’s role, connotes identifiying a weave of relations among the above mentioned referents and educational phenomena. It is common to find countless studies about education from a variety of perspectives, such as: pedagogy, didactics, psychology, and learning. Nevertheless, a scenario as complex as education also deserves to be examined from a cultural perspective. As a matter of fact, the relationship between what connotes culture or cultures and education permeates all actions, omissions, projections and policies that, in terms of education, can be identified in everyday life and, of course, influences the social component.
